These sweet babies have already been with us a whole month! They’re not really babies anymore though, more like kids who are quickly becoming teenagers. They’re changing daily and getting all the more rascally as time passes. I love how comfortable they can be around us, but it’s also pretty funny to watch them run and hide when they hear a strange noise like a sneeze or the car honk. They’re doing all the chicken things like scratching the ground, taking dust baths, flying up to higher spots, and exploring all over the place. Levi says very often that they’re just so cute that he wants to squeeze and shake them. So we acknowledge that yes they are indeed cute enough to squeeze, but that would be a very bad thing to do to our feathered friends. Instead we hold them gently and make them comfortable.
