The kids and I were able to pick blueberries last week. It was a perfect cloud covered, cool morning. In about an hour my biggest little and I were able to harvest about a gallon berries to freeze. The two others went and hid themselves down the row for most of the time.
We try to save most of the blueberries until the cooler months. I then make these pancakes with them. Since the recipe uses only 1 cup of blueberries per batch. We all get a taste without going through them too quickly. This recipe is from my Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book.
