Grandma’s Corn & Pea Salad

Here is another of my Grandma’s recipes that was passed down to my Mom. It’s a light and refreshing side to the heavier dishes that are also served at family meals. Enjoy!

Corn & Pea Salad

1 can Shoepeg Corn, drain

1 small can Peas, drain

Marinade:

1/4 c. Sugar

1/4 c. Oil

1/4 c. Vinegar

Onion Salt, to taste

Combine all the above and let marinate (several hours or even overnight).

Just before serving mix and add:

1 c. finely chopped Celery

1/2 c. chopped Green Onions
