1 yard of Nylon Netting will make 3 Pot Scrubbers.
Roll Netting to make it more compact for cutting.
Using a rotary cutter, on a self healing mat, Cut netting into 2″ strips and organize into groups of 6 strips each.
Tie each set of 6 strips end to end and roll into 3 separate balls.
With your first netting ball and using a Size N Crochet Hook work loosely and Chain 2
In first ch, SC 5 Explained more in the next picture.
2 SC to right of end piece of netting and 3 SC to left of same piece all in the first Chain
SC 2 in each SC around, using the first 2 of 6 netting sections. Then SC in each SC for netting sections 3-5
When you get to the 6th section of netting SC in each of the first 3 SC and then SC in every other SC
Continue SC in every other SC until the scrubber is closed
Pull end of netting through the last stitch to tie off (be gentle or it will tear) and work end of netting through both layers of the scrubber
Leaving 3″ of netting, tear off the excess and work into middle of netting
Continue with last 2 balls of netting. These measure approximately 3″x 3″
Chubby Scrubby next to a Regular Pot Scrubber. The Chubby Scrubby is about 3.5″ x 3.5″ and about twice as thick. To make the Chubby Scrubby hold 2 netting balls together and make just like the regular one. Don’t work too tightly though.
